Summary: too many dropped calls and gets too hot
Comment: I'm on my second a727 because I thought the first one was faulty. Now, having the second one for 3 months, I've come to realize, this model is faulty. I constantly have dropped calls. And the phone gets really hot after just 10 minutes of talking. If you want a reliable phone-- which everyone does, do not get this phone.

Summary: Look to pre-paid
Comment: I was a ATT subscriber for years and the quality was great. However, in a belt tightening move I opted for Skype for a landline at $60/year UNLIMITED (I pay $50/month for broadband anyway) then I noticed that our two cell phones cost $81/month regardless of usage so I looked around and found TMobile prepaid and got cell phones with 2200 minutes for one year at $230. Since CA is now going to ticket drivers using phones it is a good excuse to just call when I get HOME!

Summary: Not too shabby
Comment: I really don't get excited about cell phones and I generally think that most products are "ok" or "not bad". I feel that this phone is "alright", it's got plenty of features and works well. All I can say is that it met my expectations after reading reviews about it.

It is very slim but hasn't broken in the past 7 months after the 10+ times that it has been dropped on concrete and other hard/rough surfaces.

There aren't a lot of cool cases or accessories specifically for this model, so that sucks. The output of sound isn't all that loud, some ring tones or songs are but most aren't.

All in all, I don't have much bad stuff to say about it - so that's good. It was worth the penny that I paid for it with my new AT&T plan. Please read other, more detailed reviews prior to purchasing. =]

Summary: No complaints here
Comment: Being a person who doesn't really LOVE talking on the phone but does it usually only when necessary, I must say that this phone is all that I need. Even though this phone isn't loaded with features, the ones that it does carry are useful and easy to use. Basically, this is a phone for someone who doesn't need his/her phone to do everything but clean the car.
Furthermore, I believe that a review of a phone should be about the phone. My hometown is in the middle of nowhere, with no service at all, so I'm quite familiar with dropped calls, regardless of what phone I own at the time. Blame the carrier for the lack of service/dropped calls--not the phone.

Summary: Much better phones out there
Comment: My husband and I have had these phones for 5 months now. We have never had more dropped calls than we have in the past five months with these phones. We did purchase these phones when we switched carriers, so perhaps that is the problem. Though I doubt it. Even with full bars of service, the calls drop randomly and often. And then the phone goes into "emergency mode" and we're unable to make any calls at all. At first we thought that something was wrong with the particular phones we had, like a bad batch, because we know several people in this area with AT&T service who never have dropped call problems. So I called in and exchanged the phones under the warranty, yet we still have the same problems.

Quite honestly, the phone itself isn't that bad. I prefer the Motorola, or even better the LG operating system to Samsung, but it's a decent phone with enough features for the standard cell phone user. If it weren't for the constant dropped calls, I wouldn't mind keeping the phone until I was able to upgrade.

My only regret is not returning these phones within the 30 day trial period. If I had I wouldn't be stuck with all of this call frustration. I would recommend buying a different manufacturer's phone, but if you're stuck on buying a Samsung, go with one of the Blackjack's.

Wireless technologies are more and more popular because they linked the mobile network and Internet together. One of these modern technologies are Wireless LAN (WLAN), Bluetooth, and Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) are implemented as an extension to or as an alternative for wired LAN to make the communication more flexible and powerful to fulfill today’s need.

WLAN is one of the modern one, effectively Ethernet without wires. It helps users to access a data network like the Internet at high speeds of up to 11 megabits per second (Mbps) as long as users are located within a relative short range (typically 30–50 meters indoors and 100–500 meters outdoors) of a WLAN base station (or antenna). This is a good alternative to most laptop users to assess Internet and getting popular most part of the developed world.
